IV. CRITERIA&ELIGIBILITY 1.Thequalifiedapplicantshouldgraduatefromhighschoolandbeover18-year-oldandunder30-year-oldwithgoodphysicalandmentalhealth.Applicantsunder18-year-oldandabove16-year-oldshouldsubmitparents’confirmationletterandauthorizationletteroflegalguardiansinChina. 2.Totheapplicant whoabandonedhis/heroriginalChinesenationalitythenjoinedaforeign nationality,SoochowUniversityfollowstheDocumentNo.12(2020)fromMinistryofEducationofChina,whichcanbegenerallyfound asfollows:Iftheapplicant,whoemigratesfromanyregionlikeChina Mainland,HongKong,MacaoorTaiwan,appliesforouruniversityasaninternationalstudent,thenhe/sheshouldholdthevalidforeignpassportornationalityproveforabove(including)fouryears,anda recordofactuallivingintheabroadintherecentfouryears(actual livingintheabroadatleastforninemonthscanbecountedasone year,whichissubjecttothesignaturepageofthepassportentryand exit.).AccordingtotheDocumentNo.12fromtheMinistryofEducationofChina,applicantwhoabandonedhis/herChineseNationalitythenjoinedaforeignnationality,shouldsubmitthedocumentsasfollows: Naturalizationprove;Cancellationoftheoriginalproofofresidence;Signaturepageofthepassportentryandexitofthelastfouryears;Studycertificateintheabroadinrecentfouryears. 3.Requirementofhighschoolexamresults Students whosubmitScholasticAssessmentTest(SAT),InternationalEnglish LanguageTestingSystem(IELTS),TestofEnglishasaForeignLanguageInternetBasedTest(TOEFLIBT)resulthaveprioritytobeadmitted.Applicantswhosubmittheaboveexamresultmustalso providehighschoolresult. ●ApplicantswhoattendtheGCEA-LevelexaminationshouldsubmitGCEA-levelresult.Theobtainedgradesofall thesubjectsshouldbeCorabove. ●ApplicantswhohighschoolgraduationExamination:themarksecuredofallthe subjects/themaximummarkofallthesubjectsshouldbe70%orabove. ●ANationalEligibilitycumEntranceTest(NEET)score40%abovethecutoffsetbyNationalTestingAgency(India)isstronglydesiredforIndianapplicants. Thesubjectsoftheaboveexamrequirementmainlyrefertophysics,chemistry,biology,mathandEnglishanditisthebasicrequirementofenrollment.TheuniversitywillchoosethemostoutstandingstudentsbasedoncomprehensiveperformanceinSAT,IELTS,TOEFLIBT,GCEA-Level,NEETandhighschoolresult.

V. APPLICATIONDATE ApplyfromMay1,2021toAugust31,2021.Ifouruniversityalreadyenrolled60studentsbeforethedeadlineofadmission,theadmissionworkwillbefinishedearlier.

VI. WAYOFAPPLICATION Applicantsshouldapplythrough“theOnlineApplicationSystemofofficeofInternationalCooperationandExchangeofSoochowUniversity”(hereinafterreferredtoas“applicationsystem”).

VII.APPLICATIONPROCEDURE 1.Logontheapplicationsystemanduploadtherequireddocuments.Thewebsiteoftheapplicationsystemis:http://iaa.***.cn/. 2.Admissionofficewilldotheinitialreviewandgivefeedbackwithin7workingdaysaftertheapplicantssubmittedalltherequireddocumentssuccessfully.Totheapplicantswhopasstheinitialreview,Admissionofficewillsendasystemmessageof“passinitialreview”.Andtheinvoiceforthefirstyear’stuitionfeeandapplicationfeewillbesenttotheapplicant’semailaccordingtotheemailinformationtheapplicantleftintheapplicationsystem. 3.TheadmittedapplicantshouldpayCNY33,700asfirst-year’stuitionfee,bookfeeandapplicationfeewithin2weeksafterhe/shereceivedtheinvoice. 4.Theadmittedapplicantshouldemailthedepositremittancereceipttotheadmissionoffice. 5.SoochowUniversitywillsendoriginalADMISSIONletterandtheVisaApplicationFormforStudyinChina(JW202)accordingtothecontactinformationtheapplicantleftintheapplicationsystemafterreceivingthedepositofthetuitionfee. 6.AdmittedapplicantsshouldgototheembassiesorconsulatesofP.R.ChinatoapplyfortheX1VisatostudyinChina,alongwiththeAdmissionletterandtheJW202form. 7.AdmittedapplicantsarerequiredtocometotheMedicalCollegeofSoochowUniversity,toregisteronthespecifieddate,withtheoriginalsoftheADMISSIONletter,thePhysicalExaminationForm,andtheJW202form.
